The spiral wound gasket is manufactured by wrapping alternating layers of thin metal and a soft gasket filler such as flexible graphite or PTFE. The chevron-shape profile of the gasket provided resilience and a “spring like” characteristic that enhances the performance of the gasket.

Products are manufactured strictly to ASME B16.20 and DIN 2699 standard. Large diameter gaskets, standard dimensions as well as special shapes are available. Common profiles include outer guide ring, inner and outer guide ring and windings only(no inner or outer ring).
